This mule deer was harvested in November 2010 by Michael Benson, in Oregon.  

The non-typical mule deer (aka "Medusa") was harvested with a muzzle loader 

and with the final score of 301 7/8 made it the SCI World Record for

non-typical Mule Deer taken with a muzzle loader and #2 with any weapon.
